Other Sports Cards

Many other types of sports cards have been made over the years other then the big four sports of baseball, football, basketball and hockey. Some of the many other types of sports cards include Nascar and other auto racing cards, Olympic sports, golf cards, boxing cards, soccer cards, cycling, horse racing cards and even bowling cards. Cycling and boxing cards even date back to the turn of the century tobacco cards.

Although these other sports are not collected by as many people they can be among the most challenging to collect because they were made in much smaller numbers and can be difficult to find for sell at time. One big advantage to collecting sports cards that are not the big four sports is that for the most part they tend to be a lot less expensive to purchase. If you are looking to collect rare cards that will not break your pocketbook you may want to consider collecting cards like these. I however would not recommend investing in these type of cards because unless something major and unexpected happens the big four sports of baseball, football, basketball and hockey cards is where the big money will always be. However if you are looking for the total fun side of sports cards collecting and enjoy the thrill of the hunt to finish sets without spending tons of cash then these sports are custom made for you.
