2008 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball Cards Product Review
2008 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball Cards Product Review

Topps Allen and Ginter baseball cards return in 2008 with for the first time Ancient Icon Cards and innovative DNA Relic cards from famous political figures. As in years past, Allen & Ginter’s distinguished card design, modeled after the vintage old baseball cards and picture cards the from the late 1800s, Allen & Ginter baseball cards will continue to delight collectors as they enhance their collection with today’s best athletes and prominent political and historic figures. It’s in my opinion it’s just a great set that’s hard to beat.

So Hobby Boxes are the best way to go rather than the retail boxes. The regular 2008 Topps Allen and Ginter has 350 cards including the shopr printed cards that are numbered 301 to 350. The 2008 Topps Allen and Ginter set contains mostly baseball cards but also includes cards like artists, impresarios, philosophers, inventors, and entertainers plus some world champions from other sports such as tennis, rugby, bowling, billards and others.

2008 Topps Baseball Cards Product Review
2008 Topps Baseball Cards Product Review

It appears Topps has done it again with another fine set in the tradition that spans back to 1952. The 2008 Topps Series 1 cards in boxes and packs look to me to be a fine addition to any collection and a must have for those who have collected the regular Topps sets year in and year out. They are full with the tradition of baseball card collecting and as always with the regular issue Topps cards the players full stats are listed on the backs.

2008 Topps Baseball Card Factory Team Sets come in all 30 MLB teams from Angels and Red Sox to Yankees and Nationals. Each team set comes with 14 cards of the particular team with most of the teams having the 14 biggest stars for that team. Great Item for a fan of any team and makes a great small gift item. Collectors should note that these team sets were made to be sold as team sets and are not the same cards that come out of the regular issue Topps packs. The 2008 Baseball Card Factory Team Set cards have team-specific numbering on each card. For example, the Yankees are NYY1-NYY14. Each team set has a complete team checklist on the back of each blister pack.
